Feature requests

I am looking for a feature that allows me to compare actual costs versus estimated costs, rather than just hours. This would help in better financial planning and tracking for projects.

I am trying to create a view or report that shows a 2-week overview of tasks for each resource. Currently, I have to export a PDF for each person individually. It would be beneficial to have a feature in TeamGantt that allows viewing the entire team's tasks in one consolidated view, rather than exporting individual PDFs for each team member.

I would like to have an advanced option to automatically share a simplified PDF report of the project status with our customers every Friday. This report should include only closed task groups, providing a concise overview without revealing the full project details. This feature would streamline our communication process and ensure our customers are regularly updated without manual intervention.

I’d like to present a yearlong snapshot of the projects to my team but don’t see the functionality to zoom out that far.

It is really annoying that anyone with account holder permissions can delete people. We need people to be able to run time tracking reports and be able to see projects that they aren't invited to, so have quite a lot of people as account holders. But this means they can also do things like this by accident. Ideally, access to the reporting functionalities would be available to advanced users so we could limit the number of account holders.

Add the option to see the number of exceeded / unfulfilled hours.

The dashboard view is nice but it doesnt give a lot of info. Calling it "Full detailed view" isnt exactly right :) There should be some kind of indication that shows how long a period the bar stretches over. Let it show months & weeks! Also It would be nice if the mileposts where marked with dates.

I suspect something like 'last login date by user' or 'last edit date by user', just need something to show people are actually using the software. Nothing overly complex needed. ideally this is something we would be looking for periodically, I imagine annually at least. I'm surprised this isn't something you get a request for more often, from enterprise scale customers. I suspect it is something that would be of interest to them for use by their software asset management teams for ongoing license recovery activity.

Ability to not only see tasks that are ok, behind, overdue, or project progress percentage, but also be able to see the progress variation between the planned progress percentage vs current progress percentage.

The Daily Digest emails are very useful. They would be more useful if: I could click on "1 new comment" and open the task in my browser to see the comment in its context I could click on any task listed and have it open in my browser
