Repeating Tasks, Same Line

We are an accounting firm that repeats the same tasks on an annual basis. We love the software, but hate the fact that we have to duplicate the project each year or add multiple lines for subsequent years' activities. Can't you just make a repeating task that generates a new instance once the old one is closed?

We’re still tracking the request for automatically generated recurring tasks, especially when teams want each new instance to stay visually compact on the same line.
